The Fund’s Annual General Meeting will be in Brisbane on Thursday 17 September 2026, coinciding with the Brisbane Festival.
The AGM will be in the State Library Auditorium, part of the Sir Zelman Cowen Public Architecture Award winning complex. It will be preceded by a tour of some of the Library’s treasures, and followed by a light lunch on the Queensland Terrace.
After lunch, members will enjoy a private curator’s tour of Kith and kin, at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). This landmark artwork by Archie Moore won the Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice Biennale. It is jointly owned by GOMA and the Tate. It traces Moore’s Kamilaroi and Bigambul relations over 65,000+ years. This is the first time it has been exhibited since its debut in Venice. The afternoon program will also feature a private briefing on the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
The AGM Dinner will be at the historic Queensland Club.
On Friday 18 September 2026, the program will include: a private tour of the new exhibition at the William Robinson Gallery in Old Government House, by gallery director Vanessa van Ooyen; and a tour and lunch at Newstead House, Brisbane’s oldest standing European residence. After lunch enjoy an exclusive tour of an exquisite mid-century private home, overlooking the Hamilton Reach of the Brisbane River, and its extraordinary collection of Australian 20th Century and contemporary paintings and sculpture.
